Like all our dogs, Anton is vaccinated, chipped, dewormed and de-fleaed. He has his EU passport and is ready to travel.

Since the summer of last year, we have tried to catch Anton, but he never let us get close to him. He always came very close, but when we tried to catch him, he ran away. We were very worried about him, because people kept calling us that they had seen him on the country road and that he was almost run over, and then he was seen by the river. Again and again we went to the places, but either he was gone again or we could not catch him again. The food we left him in the places he ate, but he was never in the same place for long.

One day a man was lucky enough to catch him when he was dumping his garbage at a dumpster. He managed to hold him and called our animal welfare association Armantes. We quickly drove to the place, which was very close to Calatayud. When we saw him, we realized that it was Anton the Galgo who kept escaping from us and for whom we were called so many times. Finally we had our Anton, and therefore no longer exposed to the danger of being run over and now we can do something for him, especially, find a great family for him.
However, at the moment we have the problem that we do not have a foster home available for him and therefore we had to ask the City Animal Center (CPA) to let us keep Anton there for some time. We got the acceptance, but as long as he is there, the owner is the CPA, that is the municipality of Calatayud. Of course we agreed so that Anton would be off the street and out of danger of being run over.

In this animal center (CPA) , with which we actively cooperate, we could see how much good-naturedness he radiates. Although at the beginning he did not want to be touched, today he is exactly the opposite. He does not leave our side to demand his cuddles. He is really a very nice dog, gets along with all dogs, whether female or male, and even stoically endures the games of the puppies. His character is rather calm, maybe it's because he doesn't have to search for food and water anymore. Anton is a very people-oriented dog, always asking for cuddles and as long as we are with him, he accompanies us all the time. He also gets along well with children, watching them play without getting too close.

In the next few days we will also do a cat test. We do not think that there will be any problems, as Anton is a calm and good dog.

We are convinced that Anton as an adult Galgo will not cause any problems in the house, because like all Galgos, he loves the sofa the most.

For Anton we wish a family who will give him proper attention and have time for long walks with him. The family will never regret taking Anton into their home. All he needs is his warm bed and lots and lots of cuddles.
