Thor was surrendered to the shelter in May 2021. His previous owner had taken very good care of him, but he was not the right dog for her, as Thor is a lively dog boy who needs a lot of exercise to be happy.

He is an extremely intelligent and obedient dog, but he needs a family who understands how to provide the right amount of activity for him to be a happy dog.
Ideally, he would like an active family who lives in the country and who can take him on
who can take him for long walks or jogs.
He is the ideal e partner for sporty people who like to exercise in nature.

With other dogs he is very sociable - sometimes he can annoy his fellow dogs, because he always wants to play and romp around. Especially older dogs sometimes react rough to him - then Thor prefers to go away again, because he does not want to annoy his dog buddies.

Thor is very affectionate, loyal and people-oriented, always looking for someone to play with him or pet him. His favorite game is retrieving the ball. He can play with you for hours and always brings it back for you to throw to him again!

We know he is not your typical couch dog, but we are sure there is a sporty and active family out there who will fall in love with him and with whom he can have thousands of adventures around the world - Thor would do it all.
