Hulk escaped from an apparently violent owner in March 2021, who probably wanted to chain him up - but a lucky circumstance we don't know made his escape possible.
Perhaps someone also had mercy on him and freed him from the chain.

In any case, he was found wandering alone by nice people who brought him to Reus. When he came to the shelter, he had big injuries on his neck, clearly marked by a chain.
He must have worn this chain as a young dog when he was still growing. The chain became too tight and was already fused with the skin. The wounds were all infected and bloody.
So first of all, the vet had to take care of the poor guy, and Hulk was happy to go through the procedure, glad that he was finally helped.

Hulk has fully recovered and is now happily at the Refugio of Reus, where he is now hoping for a new home.
Due to his size, we would love to find him a house or apartment with a fenced in area.

Hulk has no problems with people or his peers, which makes placement much easier. He is just a giant baby who wants to be loved.
Hulk is vaccinated, dewormed, chipped and will be handed over with EU passport.
