Podencos and their mixed breeds are sensitive creatures and so it was very traumatic for Tarzan when he was abandoned. It took him a long time to get used to his new life in the shelter and he was very sad for a long time. In the meantime Tarzan has grown older and is still stuck in the shelter, yet he is a great guy. He is very playful, loves to play with the ball and is an attentive dog.

Podencos are unique in your way. Indoors they are quiet, reserved and gentle and they are very child friendly dogs. Outside they like power and enjoy long walks or running around, although a drag leash should be used here depending on their hunting instincts.
