Canitas came to the city cat house with her sister Simi. Sister Simi, who looks like a beautiful Siamese cat, stood out because of her beauty and was therefore adopted in no time. Canitas, on the other hand, has not been so lucky. She is a black cat whose only striking feature is her body full of white hair. This white hair is not a sign of aging - the cat has had it since birth and that is why she was given the name Canitas, which means "the gray one".

In addition, "the grey mouse" has an injured eye, a corneal injury to the eyeball. This does not limit the cat's abilities, but she no longer looks as appealing to potential adopters. The injury is a result of being a street cat... when Georgina and her team took Canitas in, the street had clearly taken its toll on her.

Canitas is a shy and fearful cat. She needs time and trust to open her heart.

In Spain, the chances of adoption are almost zero: Canitas is already fully grown, shy, has a flaw, no particular coat color and is not a popular breed. We are still keeping our fingers and paws crossed for the cat and hope to be able to welcome her to Germany soon.
