Due to confiscation, he has been in our animal shelter since October 2022 and has been officially available for adoption since July 2023.

Pebrot found his way to our animal shelter after being confiscated by the local authorities. That really means something in Spain! He and 8 other dogs were kept in terrible conditions on a company premises. Accordingly, they arrived at our animal shelter physically and mentally weakened! Completely neglected, in poor physical condition, scared, some with open wounds and full of worms.
The little one has now recovered and is officially allowed to go looking for a family. It was a long battle with the former owner, but it was definitely worth it for Pebrot!

Because of his history, Pebrot is still a fearful and insecure dog. He has a really hard time trusting us humans. But we try every day to gain his trust a little more. We also train him to go for walks every day and it gets a little better every day. The leash and any kind of noise still cause him a lot of stress. But we're sticking with it! Otherwise, Pebrot is a very calm dog. So far, he won't let himself be touched voluntarily, but he wouldn't go forward if he did. He prefers to hide in a corner. Otherwise, he has no problems with other dogs. A confident first dog would help him a lot to overcome his insecurity.
We would like Pebrot to have a calm family that accepts him as he is and gives him the time he needs. We are sure he will become a great companion. Dog training would be necessary.

Pebrot moves to his new home chipped, vaccinated, neutered, tested for Mediterranean diseases and with an EU pet passport.
