Chico was one of the many strays that dot the streets of Baeza. No one was interested in the male dog for many weeks - perhaps because he clearly didn't belong to a hip breed, perhaps also because he wasn't completely neglected.

Two young animal-loving people didn't look away and fed Chico at the same time every day and tried to build a trusting bond. Chico never wanted to be petted; his reservations about people were still too great.

One day the helper managed to secure the Podenco male... and quickly took him home. Chico can stay in this foster home until he finally leaves for the German-speaking countries!

Chico still shows reservations and tried to wriggle out of the safety harness once while out for a walk. One reason why professional double security is essential! Within his own four walls, Chico is gradually making small and big progress...

We are sure that Chico's placement will not be easy, as there are already many scaredy cats looking for a home. But we want to give as many dogs as possible a chance, including the Podi mix male!
