Artemisa was handed in together with her two siblings Ares and Hera at the killing station in Resur. The puppies probably came from an unwanted litter... a consequence of the neutering fatigue that is still common in southern Spain.

The killing station in Resur is certainly not a good place for a little dog's soul: noisy, dirty and in constant danger of losing its life. Be it through euthanization by the staff, harmful viruses and bacteria or other dogs biting due to stress and the cramped situation.

When Teresa from the animal welfare organization Al-Bayyasa wanted to rescue galgo babies, she saw us and couldn't say no. She gave us the ticket to a new and better life in safety and security.

We are lively and lively puppies: we are still inexperienced and do not yet know our harness and lead. Our daily routine consists of eating, sleeping, making dog poo, playing and teasing our brothers and sisters.

At the moment, the volunteers from Al-Bayyasa are teaching us how to walk ... and we are making progress!
