Working in animal welfare, you inevitably get to know a lot of people and their fates. We have already seen and experienced a lot, but Luna's skill takes our breath away.

From puppyhood, Luna lived with a couple who were living their dream abroad - farming and running a sheep dairy. One day a tragic incident occurred: a neighborhood dispute escalated and Luna's master's neighbor fatally injured him. The death (murder or manslaughter) remains unpunished to this day. The woman left Spain, leaving her former dream and her animals behind. Also out of fear of the aggressor, who has not been found since the crime.

The property is now being used for farming again, but the new owners have no interest in the animals. When Luna arrived at the shelter, she was understandably insecure, suspicious, anxious and scared. The special dog clearly didn't understand what had happened and why she was at the shelter. Little by little, Luna has shown her affectionate and loyal side and is now looking for affection. Nevertheless, she is not the typical "lap dog". The Pyrenean mix bitch is a giant of over 40 kilos with beautiful blue eyes that mesmerize everyone.

We are looking for a very special and sensitive family for Luna who can give her the time she needs to gain confidence. Due to the breed characteristics of the Pyrenean Mountain Dogs, a lot of space is also ideal, as these dogs can usually show limited territorial behavior.
