We have already seen many dogs, but Naksu is one of the greatest dog ladies we have ever "crossed paths" with for placement. Loly, one of the volunteers, told us very enthusiastically about the calm, balanced and very social giant bitch, who is so completely free of fears and reservations. Naksu, as the St. Bernard mix was christened, was very lucky to be allowed to move into the Refugio at Al Bayyasa. The places available at the shelter are limited and the demand for emergency animals far exceeds capacity.

We don't know where Naksu came from - she was just there! Presumably she came from a farm, took her luck into her own hands and wandered off into her new life...

Naksu gets along very well with the helpers and dogs of all genders. She is extremely affectionate towards her caregivers and has a great interest in "pleasing" them. Her favorite pastime is going for walks. The XXL dog clearly enjoys this, shows a relaxed manner and is very good on the lead. Naksu loves to have space around her, so an adopter/family with a larger plot of land would be best.
