Name: Golfo
Age: 27-01-2012
Weight: approx.11.5 kg
Size: about 45 cm
Breed: Bodequero Andaluz
Gender Male
Animal shelter: Al Bayyasa Baeza
When one of Teresa's many volunteers stopped at the side of the road to look at the pretty Bodequero Andaluz, who was walking around alone as a mother, he couldn't believe his eyes because Golfo seized his opportunity, he got to the car and just got in, as if he wanted to say: "Finally you are here, come take me to safety now".
Golfo really does everything to please! Since he is very submissive, he quickly became a "victim" in the shelter after a bite attack, he was allowed to spend a few months with a foster family to fully recover from his injuries. He showed everything he could to impress.
Golfo is compatible with cats, gets along with males and bitches and would therefore definitely be excellent as a second dog - due to its peaceful nature and its need for harmony, the existing dog should not be too dominant so that Golfo can also relax.
Apart from his lovely nature, Golfo can also do things that only a few street dogs master! Trouble-free walking on a leash, for example!
Unfortunately, Golfo was probably stung by a sand mosquito that carried the leishmaniasis pathogen (the only mode of transmission for this disease - leishmaniasis is not contagious) please do not be put off by this diagnosis. you can get a good handle on this with cheap medication. Golfo has no symptoms and is a lively guy.
On our homepage you will find useful information on this topic and Golfo's agent can also be contacted here to help with questions about leishmaniasis.
