Due to a seizure since October 2022 with us in the shelter, since July 2023 officially released for adoption.

Tro found his way to us at the shelter due to seizure by local authorities. That may really mean something in Spain! He and 8 other dogs were kept on a company premises in the worst conditions. Accordingly, they arrived physically as well as psychologically battered at our shelter! Completely neglected, in bad physical condition, scared, partly with open wounds and full of worms.
In the meantime, the little one has recovered and is officially allowed to go in search of a family. It was a long fight with the former owner, but it was definitely worth it for Tro!

Despite the many bad years, Tro has not lost his trust in us humans. With strangers he is very cautious and shy at first. But when he knows someone, he likes to be petted and if he gets a treat, he is happy.
He has a very sweet and great character. In his kennel he is very calm and always keeps it clean. You should know that Tro and his brother Piu led the former pack where they lived for many years. He is definitely an "alpha" animal with conspecifics:-)
That's why we see Tro in a family where he can be the only prince!
He loves to go for walks and already walks well on the leash. In dog encounters the alpha animal comes out, you have to be a little careful. However, he is very manageable in such situations.
We are sure that with the right family he will become a great companion. However, we would not recommend children.

Tro will go to his new home chipped, vaccinated, neutered, tested for Mediterranean diseases and with an EU pet passport.
